Note: Since Noro Silk Mountain is discontinued, Fleece Artist Baby Alpaca can be used as a substitution.

Two manifestly different yarns come together in an energetic interplay of saturated color and contrasting texture. One side of the resulting fabric is roughhewn with loops of chunky multihued bouclé defining the terrain. On the flip side, silken rivers of fine, caressingly soft baby alpaca swirl and hold sway. This lightly structured short jacket can be worn double-breasted and closely fitted, or open and gently flared around the torso. Ornamental knots surround the cuffs, while a tier of nubby fringe highlights the waist. Taken altogether, Sophie’s Swirl is a treat for the senses.
