Nontraditional color stranded patterns cover this sweater. Knit seamlessly from the top down, the tubular neck is followed by short rows as the color stitch patterns are added. Full sized charts are included to customize yoke, body and sleeve lengths.
The underarm stitches are picked up, added to the body which is then worked seamlessly down to the hem. Body includes shaping, which is optional, to add 4” to the hem circumference.
The sleeves are worked seamlessly from the shoulder to the cuff.

Sizes: 40, 44, 48, 52, 56” finished chest
Gauge: 6.5 stitches and 7 rows = 1” in stranded color pattern

TUNIC LENGTH (for sweater length: use one skein less background color)
YARNS: CASCADE 220 sport 50 GRAM/164 yard skeins OR similar sport/dk weight wools
A: Background color BC : 9, 10 (11, 12, 13) skeins
B: Darkest color DC : 2, 3 (3, 4, 4)
C: Lightest color LC : 1, 2 (2, 2, 2)

16”, and 32”- 40” US #, 4 or 5 as needed for GAUGE (see above)
32” US # 2 for hem
DPNS (Double pointed needles) 2 sizes smaller than one above: set of 4 for sleeve cuff
2 circular stitch holders for sleeve stitch holders/joining
5 different colored stitch markers, or safety pins
darning needle and point protectors
5 yards smooth sport weight cotton waste yarn and crochet hook #G
