Short warm cardigan easy to knit, is worked in flat from back bottom up to neckline, in continuity with the front part each side separately. With slim fit sleeves and loose fit body. (fitting with 10-15 cm//4-6’’ of positive ease in all sizes.
Each border worked with moss stitch is an integral part of the cardigan.
A moss stitch triangle begins at the middle back body, and goes up left & right to each side of the neckline, from one stitch shifted left & right at every rows to fit in all the last row with moss stitches. Next bind off to shape the neckline, and in the same time, you have to shift one moss stitch every rows to reduce the front triangle. Its side points are falling over the shoulders thanks to the vertical armholes….
6 buttonholes at the right side.
The sleeves are worked into the round and sewn onto the body.
This moss stitch triangle with the darkness of the yarn, is like a whispered detail, only visible according to light direction, hence its name.
The sample is worked out in Small size , I also explained size M, L and XL : S-M-(L-XL).
