a beginner friendly guide to knitting the Soul from Undertale/Deltarune! this pattern is worked flat (with decreases/increases only on knit rows!), then seamed together. images are also included for steps in construction.

skill level: beginner/intermediate. this pattern includes 3 alternate methods of making this, starting from easiest (knitting just squares and then seaming), to my regular difficulty level in patterns. if there’s anything i can add to this pattern to make it more beginner friendly, please let me know!

all the stitches this pattern asks for (with links to tutorials for anything specified):

• knit
• purl
• cast on (increase) at both the start and end of knit rows
• partial cast off during rows (decrease)

what you need for this project: red yarn, straight knitting needles, a sewing/darning needle, stuffing, and determination :)
