Soul 13 is a sweater I wanted to knit for the longest time. It’s my soul sweater, I mean, it’s what my soul looks like, what it would wear if I had the guts to show it to others. My 13 y-o self would have LOVED this sweater. No one knitted me one, so I just wore two different red sweaters with black instead.

It’s an easy knit. The hardest part is to change color! Really!

The sweater has no shaping (I will show you a very nifty way of creating shaping if you need it!) but the body has a lot of stretch so it will fit beautifully on everyone!
The sweater is knitted in 4 pieces. First them lower body, then the sleeves and they are all worked together into the upper body and collar. There are on two 4 stitches spots to seam and that’s all the seaming this sweater has!

Oh and 13 is for the repeats, one stripe is 13 rounds.

Notes
• The sleeves are identical and may be worked two at a time.
• The sweater has no front or back, it’s the same on both sides until you make the shaping, if you choose to make the shaping.
• On the sleeves, to simultaneously increase 2 sts every 34 26, 53, 26, 264, 10, 11) do this: Knit 33 25, 52, 25, 253, 9, 10) rounds, then work one increase round.
• Working the first row with short tip needles makes it easier.
• For the collar, depending on your gauge, you might need to go down a needle size or two.
