Author’s Note:
This pattern is perfect for a beginner! It is important to note that in this pattern, after each row,
CH 1 to keep the edges straight. You will not be working in the CH 1 after each row. For the
rows that start with a DC, you will CH 2 at the beginning of the row. In this pattern, I use
white cotton yarn with the majority of the pattern, with yellow yarn as the secondary color for
the puff stitch rows. It is your choice with what you choose for your primary color and secondary
color. Also, as noted by a couple of my pattern testers, some cotton is a little stiffer than the
cotton yarn recommended in this pattern, so the size may vary.
