The Southwest Sunset Shrug was designed with about 5 – 10” (12.5 – 25 cm) of positive ease (extra room) for the bust/ chest. Keep this in mind when choosing your size. Sizes are available from XS - 6X.

The body is worked from top to bottom in one complete panel, using 8 different colors. The sides are then seamed together to complete the body and create the armholes. The collar is then worked around the body. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the arm holes and worked in rounds for the sleeves.

This Shrug was designed with cotton. Any other fiber may be substituted, but this will change the overall drape of the shrug. Because this Shrug was designed with cotton, there are no instructions for blocking your final piece; however, if you choose to use wool as a substitute, you will need to block your final piece before seaming together.
