The Southwold Summer wrap is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, designed to have a beautiful drape. It has alternating garter stitch and lace eyelet sections, with the option of adding beads before casting off. Each colour change is introduced with some garter stitch stripes.

Version 1, in sea colours, uses one ball each of Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton yarn (Ecru, Seafoam and Surf)
Version 2, in bright colours, uses two balls of colour A (Citron) and three balls each of colours B and C (Leaf and Papaya) in the Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton yarn.

There is the option to add beads before casting off. You will need 27 beads, approximately 5mm in diameter, with a hole large enough for the yarn to pass through. You will also need a fine crochet hook - the tip must be thin enough to pass through the hole in the bead.

The shawl measures approximately 190cm across and 120cm deep. The gauge is not critical, but please be aware that if your gauge is very different, this will result in a different sized shawl and you may run out of yarn.
