Our knitting group makes lapghans for a local charity. I wanted a pattern to use leftover skeins of donated acrylic yarn. I also wanted to be able to work on it anywhere - even in the dark.

Call me crazy but I love to knit Seed Stitch. As a Continental Knitter, I find it very soothing and rhythmic. By casting on an odd number of stitches, the row always starts with a Knit Stitch.

The pattern is a formula and easily adaptable for other yarn weights, needle size and overall size. It is an excellent way to use yarns that have been given to me.

This lapghan is approximate 35” X 42”.

If you download this pattern, I would appreciate a heart.
