The Space Between Sweater combines the timeless elegance of intricate cabling with the modern comfort of a high, cosy turtleneck. Designed to be both a meditative knit and a statement piece, this sweater features a rich texture that flows seamlessly from the collar down.

The Pattern has been tech edited and test-knitted by multiple knitters, both in English and Icelandic.

Gauge
The cables pull the knitting together so on average when measuring both Cables and Rib the gauge is 19 sts x 30 rows for 10x10 cm /4x4 in.
When measuring rib only it is 17 sts & 30 rows = 10x10cm/4x4” after washing and blocking. The ribbing should be flat when measured.

Sizes:
The pattern comes in 8 sizes, from 88cm to 152 cm in width of the garment.

Level of difficulty
Intermediate. The pattern is not suitable for beginners. Complex cables are made, and you need to work German short rows.

Worsted Weight/10ply Yarn in (Merino/Alpaca/Mohair)

Sample is knit with 3 Yarns held together. Filcolana: Pernilla (100% Wool, 175m/191 Yds, 50g/1.76 oz),
Filcolana: Alva (100% Alpaca, 175m/191 Yds, 25g/0.88 oz), and Isager Silk Mohair (75% Super Kid
Mohair/25% Silk, 212m/231 Yds, 25g/0.88 oz).

Approximated yarn usage: the amount in Meters for each strand of yarn. (For yards, multiply by 1.094.)
