Quick colorful, and out of this world! The Space Cadet ankle socks are a breeze to knit. They are knit from the toe up and feature a Fleegle heel, so no pesky picking up stitches is necessary. The instep pattern is fun and easy to memorize, and they feature a fun double-knit cuff, perfect for using up those little scraps you’re never quite sure what to do with.

Sizes
This pattern has three sizes S (M, L), or 56 (64, 72) sts.
Note: Many sock patterns have sizes in 64 (72, 80) sts, but since this pattern is for an ankle sock and knit on size 1.5 needles, I recommend knitting the size with fewer stitches than you usually would; for example if you typically knit a 64 st sock, you should probably make the 56 st size in this pattern.

The pink sample is size S, the purple sample is size M, and the tan sample is size L.

Gauge
8 st by 12 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette.
