Based in part on Jennifer Wang’s excellent Space Invaders Charts, here’s a little potholder project, which should be good for beginner double-knitters, will knit up quickly, make the geeks in your life happy, and help bust your stash.

The gauge doesn’t matter.
The type of the yarn might.
That is, if you actually intend on USING these as potholders, using a yarn that won’t melt is a good idea.
