I am always grooving along to music while I work in my studio, and when the music is really good it puts me in the zone. You know, the zone where your creativity and energy are sparked and everything just flows? This shawl is my nod to the awesome power of music, and those fantastic little moments in everyday life.

And like the name suggests, it’s an easy pattern to get the flow of - just enough spark to keep advanced knitters entertained, but accessible for an advanced beginner. So grab your needles and good tunes, and get in your own happy zone!

Skills needed: increasing, decreasing, slipping stitches, and knitting stripes.

This shawl was knit with Apple Tree Knits’ brand-new line of resist-dyed colorways, Purl Jams. This line is currently enjoying its world-premier at The Studio Knitting and Needlepoint in Kansas City and is not yet available anywhere else, but ask for it in your local yarn shop starting in early summer!
