This novelty Christmas jumper is adorned in bright festive lights. The jumper itself is a really simple knit, worked flat from the bottom up with raglan sleeves - an ideal knit for confident beginners! Techniques include knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases and picking up stitches.

You will need:
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK (276m/302yds per 100g)
For the jumper:
4 (4: 5: 5: 5: 6: 6: 6: 6) x 100g balls in ‘Grass Green’
For the lights:
1 x 100g of each of the following:
’Pure Black’, ‘Rose Red’, ‘Kingfisher Blue’, ‘Blood Orange’ and ‘Mustard Yellow’
Alternatively, use leftovers for the lights - any DK yarn with a similar tension will work, allow approx. 4m/4.40yds for each light.
1 x pair 3.25mm/US 3 needles
1 x pair 4mm/US 6 needles
4mm crochet hook
4 x stitch holders
Small amount of toy stuffing for each light
Most DK yarns will work with this pattern, provided it can be knitted to the stated tension.
