The Sparkling Waves shawl is made in the shape of a half octagon, I have used 2 strands of yarn all the way through the pattern. 1 strand of Scheeepjes Stardust, which is a beautiful glittering yarn (and its very hard to capture that glitter in a picture) and 1 strand of Scheepjes Whirl. The pattern can easily be adjusted to any size you wish
