This is a placemat I created to participate in The Great Yarn Challenge by the Craft Yarn Council.

It is meant to be a wintery, seasonal look, however, it could be used any time of the year.

The fluffy/furry yarn I used for the placemat and star border, Lion Brand Tiffany, is unfortunately discontinued. However, in my bolg post, I list substitute yarns.

I used a vintage, costume jewelry earring to embellish the star, but use whatever strikes your fancy!
