I never know when I might find inspiration. In the case of Spectacle Beret, inspiration came when I went to a vintage store and spotted a mid-century modern piece of furniture followed by a perusal of one of my favorite home magazine.

This beret is worked from the bottom up with a corrugated brim. The patterning is achieved though the stranded colorwork technique.

Currently, the pattern is only available through your LYS through Bijou Basin Ranch, or you can purchase a pdf pattern from their site.

Pattern help available in Crafty Diversions group.
