Spencer is an inquisitive little tortoise; they make a super desk buddy or a handy pincushion. Spencer has knitted bobbles for toes, and an i-cord trim around the bottom of the shell. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the tortoise is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the shell i-cord trim is worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in red and white shades; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 50g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and small buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 10cm wide x 14cm long x 8cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
