This is my second “Spendigo” beanie named for the colloquialism given to the Australian Sheep and Wool Show held in Bendigo, Victoria each July.

This time I have opted for a slightly heavier weight beanie to suit the frosty morning temperatures hovering around 3°C.
Although the yarn used is classed as aran weight, I feel that it is closer to worsted. Ideas are given for changing size and yarn weight based on test projects.
Want a slouchy? Try aran or bulky weight instead.
Something for a slightly smaller head? Try DK.

Thank you to tester Yarnymama for trialling a baby-sized version in fingering weight cotton.
