Construction

  • Spero is worked from the top-down, beginning with the neckband ribbing.
  • The sweater is shaped using a round yoke construction, with five increase rounds spaced out over the total yoke depth. The vertical spaces between these increase rounds involve no shaping so colorwork motifs can be worked freely without interruption. A yoke diagram is included to show how the yoke is shaped and where the short-row shaping occurs.
  • Instructions are included for three sleeve lengths: short, half, and long.
  • Alternative colorwork charts are provided and can be substituted at will to create your own unique garment. Or, design your own charts using the coloring sheet provided at the end of the pattern.

Finished Dimensions
