“A sprite is a supernatural entity. They are often depicted as fairy-like.”

ATTENTION: THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN, NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT.
This is an crochet pattern (amigurumi) to make your very own Fantasy Sprite. You will receive both the English and the Dutch pattern.

What you need:

  • Crochet hook size 2,5 mm
  • (Hand dyed) Yarn for the body. I used ‘Nocturnal Rainbow’ by @ahandmadejourney on 100% superwash merino.
  • (Glitter) Yarn for the hair. I used, ‘I love this cotton’ by Hobby Lobby. (and threw some neon in the mix.)
  • Scissors and a tapestry needle to weave the ends.
  • 3 pair oval safety eyes; 6mm. (or one pair; 10 mm, If you don’t like the multiple eyes look.)
  • Aluminum craft wire (I use 12 gauge.) Plus, some flat nose pliers to cut and bend your aluminum wire.
  • Stuffing. (like Poly-Fil.)

This Spider Sprite is crocheted in a continuous spiral. To change your Sprite’s looks, you can vary with different types of yarn, if you want more options, like ears or wings; check out my other listings for more Sprite patterns;
-If you want to make a 4-armed Sprite, you can combine it with my Fantasy Sprite pattern.
-Or use this pattern to make a 6-armed Water Sprite with my (Siamese) Water Spite pattern.
I always love to give options!
