Spiderweb Socks
The Spiderweb Socks are an eccentric addition to an arthropod lovers wardrobe! As with all my patterns, these come with a ton of facts about the critter- the spiders and their webs! They feature a non-repeating colorwork chart with a spider and its web around your ankle to peek over the tops of your footwear- they look great with anything from loafers to combat boots. Construction-wise, the socks are knit from the top down beginning with half-twisted rib, before moving into the colorwork. The sock uses a traditional heel flap and gusset. Keep spooky season alive year round with these socks!
Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) to fit foot circumference of 6.75, (7.5, 8.25, 9 9.75, 10.25)” // 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26cm measured at the ball of the foot. You can adjust the length for both the leg and foot of the sock depending on preference and foot size.
Yarn
These socks already have a 15% buffer added into your final yardage count, but you may need additional yardage
MC: 200 (224, 242, 260, 265, 290) yards // 183 (205, 221, 238, 242, 265) meters // 40 (45, 49, 52, 53, 58) grams
CC: 50 (50, 52, 52, 54, 56) yards // 46 (46, 48, 48, 49, 51) meters // 10 (10, 10, 10, 11, 11) grams
The sample was knit in a size 3 and used less than 1 skein of Kelbourne Woolens Perennial(60% superwash Merino/25% Suri alpaca/15% nylon; 497yds/454m/100g), fingering weight) in the colorways Black and Natural.
Note: Kelbourne Woolens offers Perennial minis, and if you order from them I highly recommend using a mini for your CC!
