Spiderwort … an attractive wildflower stay open only one day

The pattern Spiderwort is a simple two color brioche pattern which consists of basic brioche stitches such as k, brk1, brp1, sl1yo, brkyobrk, brLsl/brRsl dec. I re-arranged the decrease stitches “sl-2tog-brk1-p2sso” which created a different effect of the crown tip.

Yarn Col A Pink: Kartopu BABY SOFT Color K791 100g 330m 80% Acrylic 20% Polymide
Yarn Col B Gray : SIRDAR SNUGGLY double knitting Color 0240 50g 165m 55% Nylon 45% Acrylic
Estimated Finished Size: 48cm circumference x 21cm height (without blocking)
Estimated Yarn Consumption: Col A 20g / Col B 25g
Needles and Others: 3.75mm x 40cm circular / 3.75mm x 17cm double pointed knitting needles

Size: One size only. I usually knit loosely. If you knit tightly, you can use needles of a larger size. Besides, as the number of pattern repeats may not be changed easily, I suggest using needles of a smaller or larger size for minor size adjustments.

All Brioche definitions (and abbreviations etc) are being used with permission from Nancy Marchant. For more details, please refer to the following books:
-Knitting Fresh Brioche, Creating Two-Color Twists & Turns
-Knitting Brioche – The Essential Guide to the Brioche Stitch
I enjoy reading both books, more I read, more I learn and more ideas I gain.

I knit for cancer patients, elderlies and animals, and all Hat Patterns are designed for charity. Your purchase means your support to me. If you are a charity knitter, just leave a comment and I will send the pattern as a gift and my support to you. Thank you!

The Spiderwort Pattern is the 30th pattern of “Memory 50”.
”Memory 50” is a special project to myself, for myself - to publish 50 patterns before Mid-September 2020.
I know it sounds crazy, but I’ll give it my best shot.
