Make these circles your own size, with whatever yarn and hook combination works best for you. I use a hook one half size smaller than usual to keep the stitches close. Using the above suggestion of DK yarn and 3mm hook gave me circles of
Small (3 rounds) 4.5cm diameter
Medium (4 rounds) 6cm diameter
Large (5 rounds) 7.5cm diameter
