DESCRIPTION
Who doesn’t love a classic ribbed beanie? This one is inspired by the character “Spinelli’ from the cartoon Recess. My dogs name is also Spinelli, so I thought it would be the perfect fir. Knit in the round with size 5 bulky yarn and 6.5mm needles, this hat beanie is quick to whip up! Wear it with the brim folded, or with it untucked for more of a slouchy type vibe.

Worked in the round, seamless.

DIMENSIONS (Unfolded)
Height: 10”/25cm
Width laid flat at brim: 9”/23cm

DIFFICULTY
Beginner
You will need to know how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, work in the round, decrease, and bind off.

Materials needed: 6.5mm needles, Size 5 bulky yarn

  • 1 ball of Lion Brand Woolspun or approximately 116m/127 yds of another bulky yarn, category 5 (127 yards per ball - sub would be Color Made Easy)
