Pattern notes:
The main body of this hat is worked in the round from the top down in garter stitch. The brim is then worked back and forth in 2 x 2 ribbing. The fabric is stretchy, so if you’re not sure what size to make, choose the smaller size.

Yarn:
Sport weight yarn. Pictured above in De Rerum Natura Ulysse.

70 (85, 90, 140) 170, 210, 250 yards /

To fit head circumference:
10.5-12.5 (12-14, 14-16, 16-17.5) 17.5-19, 19-20.5, 20.5-23 inches /
26.5-32 (32-35.5, 35.5-40.5, 40.5-44.5) 44.5-48.5, 48.5-52, 52-58.5 cm.

Use the schematic to choose a size with 1 - 3 inches / 2.5 - 7.5 cm of negative ease. If you’re between sizes, I’d recommend making the smaller size.

Gauge:
24 sts & 50 rounds per 4 inch / 10 cm square in garter stitch. Adjust needle size, if necessary, to get correct gauge.
