This design is available in both Interlocking Crochet and Mosaic Overlay crochet techniques. The Mosaic technique is written up to be worked either centre-out (worked in the round), or bottom-up (row by row), as such the download contains six files named appropriately to identify them.

For interlocking crochet technique;

The pattern file contains information on yarn weight, gauge, a description of how to start the first 3 rows with pictures, a chart with all the written instructions for bottom-up in one file.
The yardage stated above is an estimated one, there’s probability you might need more or less than the stated yard, depending on your tension.

For this project you are crocheting an item with two colors, (or more, depending on how you want your work to turn out).

I advise you use the right hook size for your yarn of choice, but if you crochet tight please go a hook higher to achieve a squishy effect for Interlocking crochet technique version.

For Mosaic Overlay technique;

Written instructions for bottom-up, centre-out and charts for each are provided in separate PDF files
and named accordingly.
Please note the amount of yarn needed will be higher for the Mosaic Overlay, due to tails and if you are adding any border of your choice for bottom-up technique.

Finished measurements for both techniques may differ a bit as hook size and tension are not the same.
