This beanie breathes well and is perfect for indoor wear or cool outdoor weather. Once completed it has a subtle spiral pattern and interesting texture, looking more like a crocheted project. It should be easy to make for anyone but does have a couple of unique stitches and requires close attention to the pattern. The ‘knit through the back loop’ and ‘knit 2 through the back loop’ stitches are simple but if you’re not familiar with them then just look them up online. The beanie has a fair bit of stretch and should fit most adult heads comfortably.

You need a skein of any worsted weighted yarn. I used Buttercream colour Berroco Vintage. You’ll need 4.5mm circular needles, a double pointed needle and a tapestry needle for finishing.
