Spirals is worked in the mosaic crochet method, with the pattern being mainly in chart form, which comes with associated keys and is written in UK terms. This pattern is suitable for people who have completed one or more mosaic crochet projects or for the more experienced crocheter.

Spirals is a square pattern which can be made up in six different sizes;
scatter cushion, floor cushion, baby blanket, receiving blanket, swaddle blanket and throw. Size dimensions and yarn amounts for each product are included within the pattern instructions as are border stitch counts for each of the different sizes.

The pattern is written for Aran/worsted weight yarn with a 5mm hook. You can of course choose to work in whatever yarn you wish, though that may change the finished dimensions of your product. I used one base colour with three contrasting colours but of course you can go off piste and work in as many or as little colours as you wish.

The throw also has the option to be edged with an envelope border and instructions and yarn amounts for this are included.

Please join us over at daisyknots mosaic community if you wish to chat more about the pattern. My fabulous admins have all worked on my patterns and any of them, or myself will be happy to help with any queries you may have.
