Thank you for your interest in my latest pattern!

I wanted to create this design for a while and so I conversed with my crochet friend Edie Snyder who was raised on a reservation in Niagara Falls and her mom was a Pa, I know that these sorts of patterns can spark debate, so Edie put my mind at rest when she loved the design and even wanted to test it! I also asked her advice on the name and so she named the pattern. So, I
especially Thank You Edie for your help.

The starting chain is 212, which includes the 2 anchor stitches and turning chain for your first single crochet, if you’re doing a foundation chain it’s 211 stitches.

Please note that this pattern does not come with instructions on using different colours. My testers decided to use tapestry crochet by using the full chart to colour in parts that they wanted to add different colours.

With the pattern you get a fully written pattern, a full chart and individual charts.

With overlay mosaic crochet all single crochet stitches go into the back loop of the stitch and all double crochet stitches go into the front loop of the stitch 2 rows below which will be of the same colour. You cut the yarn at the end of every row and join new yarn at the start of every row, the ends will either be left to create a
fringe, or you can create an envelope border, I have a PDF in the files of my Facebook group.

I used Yarnsmiths Pebble
Haze Prints 150g DK cakes in shade Monmouth 2D110, 1,438m, 496g, 4 cakes. For the detailed colour I used Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK 50g skeins in shade Tiger’s Eye 2C082, 1,415m, 488g, 10 skeins. My blanket measures 40/40 inches, 102/102cm with a size 3.5mm hook.

For the small envelope border 80g of Brown and 15g of King Cole Riot was used. Christina used a 3.5mm hook and her blanket measures 103/103cm.
