Spooky Season Socks are playful Halloween stranded-colorwork socks featuring creepy beetles, crawling spiders, a haunted house tucked into a dark woodland scene, and bold black-and-white vertical stripes. Pops of bright pink and electric green give the design a wonderfully strange, graphic look made for October knitting, horror-movie marathons, and anyone who takes Spooky Season very seriously.

The socks are worked cuff down in the round and include separate charts for both stitch counts. A twin-stitch short-row heel keeps the construction streamlined, while detailed written instructions and a step-by-step photo heel tutorial help guide you through the process.

Pattern includes:
• Adult S/M: 72 stitches
• Adult L/XL: 80 stitches
• Separate charts for both stitch counts
• Written cuff, leg, heel, foot, toe, and finishing instructions
• Twin-stitch short-row heel
• Step-by-step heel photo tutorial
• Toe shaping instructions
• Full-color stranded colorwork charts

Sample yarn:
Wollmeise Twin, 80% superwash merino wool and 20% nylon

Wollmeise colors used:
• Schwarz — black
• Natur — natural white
• Frühling — bright green
• Orchidee — pink/purple

Suggested yarn substitute:
Cascade Heritage or another premium fingering-weight wool/nylon sock yarn suitable for stranded colorwork.

Choose four strongly contrasting colors so the haunted house, beetles, spiders, woodland details, and graphic stripes remain crisp and clearly defined. Black and white create the dramatic foundation, while two bright accent colors give the design its playful Spooky Season personality.

Thank you for supporting my small business! I love designing cozy colorwork socks inspired by nature, the seasons, and a little bit of whimsy.
