Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I think it’s one of the few holidays (in the US, at least) that’s purely about having fun. No crazy presents of large amounts of family ritual, just candy, mischief, and fun.

This pattern came about because I just wanted some silly socks to wear for a party. And then my partner wanted a pair, and then some friends wanted a pair, and then ~the internet~ wanted a pattern, so here it is!

This pattern is meant to be FUN. There’s no real order to the charts- it’s a choose your own adventure style pattern. Choose just a few of your favorite charts and add extra stripes to fill in the gaps or pack them full with spooky things!

Yardage:
Due to the nature of the pattern, exact yardage for each pair is virtually impossible to calculate. This is a great project for sock yarn scraps.
Black - 16-60 grams
White, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Gray - less than 20 grams for each color.

Skills Needed:
Basic increases and decreases, stranded colorwork, catching long-ish floats in colorwork (link available in pattern), basic ribbing.
