Look what I’ve just seen dangling from the ceiling!

The Spooky Spider pdf knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and handy hints along the way. It is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter and is a quick project that should just take an evening or so.

Like all my patterns, it is worked flat and he’s about 2.5 inches (6.5cm) wide with 5 inch (12.5cm) long legs.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice)
2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
10g black yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 312 ‘Black’)
Oddment of white yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251‘White’)
Oddment of 4ply white cotton yarn, elastic or embroidery floss
2 x 6mm black toy safety eyes
1 small plastic sucker (optional)
Polyfil stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing, Decreasing, Picking up stitches

Stitches used: Stocking stitch, i-cord
