Spring lace shawl collection “Spring Awakening” contains five contrasting lace shawl patterns.

Different knitting techniques and diverse approaches will keep you excited right to the end, and give you five stunning shawls to wrap yourself in.

Rectangular shawl “Spring Vines”.

As the name hints, this shawl is full of characterful lacy details framed by cabled edgings and eyelet fringes. Estonian lace technique “3 from 3” is adding an extra touch to the shawl.

Shawl measures:
• Length - 182 cm / 72 inches
• Width - 40 cm / 16 inches

Triangular shawl “Misty Dusk”.

This shawl doesn’t have as many things going on like the other shawls, but don’t underestimate it. The beginning is knitted using a quite unique cabled cast on technique and cable work with the leaf detail in the middle will keep you hooked right to the end. The upper part of this shawl isn’t ordinarily flat, but rather have two “straps” that give you the option to wear the shawl multiple ways.

Shawl measures:
• Width from widest part and length of the straps - 87 cm / 34 inches
• Length from tip to the starting point of straps - 66 cm / 26 inches

Crescent shawl “First Leaves”

Tapering leaf motif and wavy edges give this shawl a wonderful drape. Crescent shape is achieved by working back and forth using short rows. I use wrap & turn technique, but if you’re not fond of it, you can just turn your work as well. This one is beautiful with a summer dress.

Shawl measures:
• Length - 143 cm / 56 inches
• Width - 41 cm / 16 inches

Crescent shawl “Spring Freshet”

Another crescent-shaped shawl with short rows but a whole new pattern combination. “Spring Freshet” has the narrow leaf motif accompanied with cables. It has an excellent draping factor and is an exceptionally elegant accessory for dresses.

Shawl measures:
• Length - 160 cm / 63 inches
• Width - 45 cm / 18 inches

And last but not least, rectangular shawl “Rippled Seas”

If you like lacy looking cables then this one is a special treat for you. “Rippled Seas” have 3 different kinds of cables, yet it’s delicate and graceful as a lacy shawl should be. You can practice various cables with this one, and maybe even try something new.

Shawl measures:
• Length - 145 cm / 57 inches
• Width - 58 cm / 23 inches

To knit these shawls you’ll need:

  • 250g (955 yards) of 4 ply yarn per one shawl (191 yds in 50 g)
  • long needles in size 3,5 mm / US 4
  • cable needle
  • markers
