This slender crescent shaped shawlette is perfect for spring or a summer night’s chill. Depending on which yarn you choose, the Spring Crescent will work as everything from a casually dressy workday scarf to a light formal shoulder wrap.

Size is very easy to customise, as the shawl is worked sideways, and it is just a question of adding more rows and increases in the middle part. The edging is worked as-you-go over just two rows. Gauge is listed for two yarns - a light cotton, and an alpaca silk blend.

The pattern uses US terminology, with UK equivalents given at the beginning, and is quite simple to follow. It uses single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, chains and picots.

Errata: increases should end on an uneven row.
