In the Spring a fuller crimson comes upon the robin’s breast;
In the Spring the wanton lapwing gets himself another crest;
In the Spring a livelier iris changes on the burnish’d dove;
In the Spring a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.

This romantic lace shawl is perfect for turning young men’s fancies to thoughts of love. The bold lace pattern shines in hand painted and gradient yarns. A flirty ruffled edging graces the shoulders. It looks great worn as a scarf.

Crescent shaped shawl worked from center back uses modified Faroese shaping to help it stay on the shoulders. Skills required: basic understanding of lace, double increases and decreases. Written and charted instructions included. Suitable for the Intermediate knitter.

Pattern contains full written instructions as well as charts.

Gradient yarn shown is available from The 100th Sheep and will be available from as a kit with the pattern from Tabitha’s Heart Etsy Shop.
