Spring is Here is a semi-triangular shawl featuring a leaf lace border along one side. The shawl starts from a tip of the lace section and is worked sideways to the desired length. You can make it any size you want, from a tiny shawlette to a large shawl, by working fewer or more pattern repeats. There are two lace border width options. The pattern contains both charts and written instructions.

Sizes
1 (2)
Wingspan: 108 (150) cm/42.5 (59) in
Depth at the widest point: 39 (54) cm/15.5 (21.5) in

Size 1 (shown in purple) is a small shawlette with a narrower lace border - it is just long enough to wrap around your neck. Size 2 (shown in green) is larger and has a wider lace border.
Irrespective of the border width you choose, you can make your shawl any size you want. (Any changes will affect yarn usage.)

Gauge (blocked)
Lace pattern: one 16-stitch and 32-row pattern repeat is 7.5 cm/3 in wide and 11 cm/4.5 in tall
Garter stitch: 19 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm/4 in

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.

Yarn
365 (600) m/400 (660) yds of fingering weight merino wool; the purple shawlette is shown in Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply (100% superwash merino wool, 365 m/400 yds per 110 g, colourway: Gentian); the green shawl is shown in Eden Cottage Yarns Pendle 4 ply (100% superwash merino wool, 400 m/440 yds per 100 g, colourway: Lichen)
