Crafted from the toe up, the Spring Leaf Socks feature an elegant lace leaf panel adorning the front, creating a delicate pattern that gracefully ascends the sock. A crisp leaf design meanders up the sock, while the remainder of the foot and leg is embraced in a classic stockinette stitch, seamlessly combining style and comfort.

NOTES
• Spring Leaf Socks are toe-up socks worked in stockinette stitch on the sole and back of the leg. This allows for extra stitches to be added if a wider leg is required (see note below). A lace leaf design starts at the top of the foot and continues up the front of the leg.
• The front of the sock is worked on needle 1 and the back of the sock is worked on needle 2.
• The heel is worked using short rows.
• For a wider leg, when you complete the heel and return to working the round for the leg on the stockinette stitch section, you can add stitches to allow for the leg width to be increased. I recommend adding 4 stitches evenly every second round until desired width is achieved.
