Lilacs are my favourite! And when I came across a colour called Spring Lilac from All Points North Yarn Co. I just knew this was calling for a spring-time shawl. DK is the perfect weight for it, still lightweight and airy, but also warm and snuggly. I generally don’t watch TV and knit, I like to focus all my attention on knitting. But - if there ever was one of my patterns that would be suitable for multitasking, it’s this one. It’s a semi-circular shawl with two sides of squishy garter ridge stitch, the middle panel features a lace and lilac pattern that’s easy to remember. Whether you’re multi- or mono-tasking, it’s a joy to knit.
