The Spring Sensation beanie is a beautifully textured messy bun style accessory, designed in conjunction with Crate Crochet - a monthly crochet subscription box.

This design was inspired by the dawning of new life and warmth of spring. It features a range of textured stiches, drawing up on the natural beauty of the Australian landscape.

Made from a cotton-merino yarn, it is perfect for those cooler spring mornings, yet light enough for the warmer days.

The pattern has many instructions for closing the top to make a fitted style, and also how to extend the pattern to make a slouchy version.

There are instructions for two sizes - sm/med, med/large with links to video tutorials.

I used approximately 1.5 balls of yarn for the small/med size.

More information about this pattern can be found via my blog.

I hope you enjoy making this beanie! Be sure to share your projects and designs with me, I’d love to see them!
