This is my first paid pattern, and I will be donating 50% of all sales to animal shelters, especially those helping to care for the dogs and cats of people and seniors in treatment for COVID, indefinitely.

I love the look of a cardigan, duster, kimono, long shawl—call it what you will—and I do not love making sleeves. That, paired with my love of edgy-edges and a dear friend’s request for a shawl that would keep her warm but not “super hot” on summer nights led me to use cotton and silk to create this beauty!

The drape and size allows for you to create a mock-collar.

Remember, you’re the boss of your own knitting, and I am a big fan of simplicity with a few special techniques slipped in, so if you have trouble with this one, contact me! I’ll try to point you to some tutorials, my help group, etc, and if anything, I bet we can modify it for you so it’s easy peasy.

Extra repeats will add extra width and length!
