This lace shawl knitting pattern contains written instructions (in English) as well as charts.

As the name hints, this shawl is full of characterful lacy details framed by cabled edgings and eyelet fringes. Estonian lace technique “3 from 3” is adding an extra touch to the shawl. Also, the middle lace pattern is widely used in Estonian lace patterns.

It’s an elegant accessory for your spring and summer dresses - cable edging will give this shawl a beautiful drape making it awesome to wear on your shoulders.

My inspiration for this pattern was my father-in-law’s grape vines framed by the trellis he made adding some creative touches like a braided rope.

The shawl is rectangular and measures:

Length – 182 cm / 72 inches
Width – 40 cm / 16 inches

You will need:

• 250 g (955 yards) of 4 ply yarn (191 yds in 50 g) - I used DROPS Baby Merino (Color 38)
• long needles in size 3,5 mm / US 4
