This shawl is a combination of two of my favorite things: traditionally-inspired shapes and techniques with a modern twist, and triangular neckwear with limitless styling possibilities. The leaf motifs in the body of Springtime Bandit evolve into lacy chevrons and the end result is a warm, soft accessory. Designed to show off the slubby texture and next-to-skin softness of Terra, it’s the thing to reach for the weather turns cool. I still wear the original version (knit in Yarrow) often!

YARN The Fibre Co. Terra (40% baby alpaca, 40% merino wool, 20% silk; 198 yds/100 gm skein): yarrow, 2 skeins.
GAUGE 16 sts + 20 rows = 4” in lace patt, after blocking.
NEEDLES 1 - 32” US 9 (5.5 mm) circular.
SIZE 50” wingspan, 22” deep.
SKILLS Lace from carts.

A version in Czech is now available! Thank you Kateřina! Please download the original along with the translation so you have all the images and charts.
