Late Spring and Early Summer bring trips to the park, outdoor walks and other adventures where a lightweight, easy care scarf comes in very handy. Springtime Flow came about as a way to fill this need while still looking lovely. The beautiful and subtle gradients from ModeKnit Yarn combine with fields of stockinette and the daisy stitch to produce a drapey fabric that resembles close-ups of hydrangeas and lilacs.

Choosing a linen yarn for this project means that it will be lightweight while still holding up well over time and wear. Linen is also very low-maintenance as you can just toss it in the washer and dryer when your scarf needs some freshening up. (I recommend taking it out of the dryer while it’s still slightly damp so that you can do some light blocking of the lace.)
