A lightweight, lacy shawl knit in the round to throw on whenever you want a bit of warmth and style and sophistication!

Knit in fingering, using a 85% cotton/15% alpaca blend, this knits up quickly on US#5 needles as you will be working in the round, each quadrant identical to the last.

The design starts at the neck and increases to the start of the border, where a final set of increases allows for working the classic lace-stitch border. This “feather and fan” lace border is an easy to memorize multiple of 13sts.

Sample shown used two skeins (approx. 840 yards) of Illimani Yarn’s Sabri but any fingering weight, especially a cotton-blend would work well with this design.

Directions are charted and written out, round by round.
