This is my second birthday inspired design, “Sprinkle” as the name suggests is inspired by the little sprinkles added to birthday cakes.

Description
Sprinkle is knitted from the top down in the round starting at the neck in 1x1 rib. The top part is worked flat with raglan increases, leaving one of the wider panels open. Increases are made until the front/back panel measures the same as the cross back (shoulder tip to shoulder tip) width, then the short panels (sleeves) are bind off with a crochet lace edge. The front and back are worked separately until the piece measures the same as the armhole depth. Using the cable method you’ll cast on stitches at the sides and at the open panel to achieve the bust circumference, and then work the piece in the round until the desired length. It is finished in 1x1 rib.

You’ll have to input some measurements and stitch count onto an excel sheet attached with the pattern to calculate the amount of stitches to cast on at the bust. You can knit your top with or without the open neckline.
