The Sprinzig Cardigan is a seamless, top-down cardigan with a simple and enjoyable construction. The lace panels along the fronts are easy to knit and are finished with an integrated i-cord edging, worked as you go, for a clean and polished look. Its open front makes it an ideal piece for the transitional season, easy to wear every day.

It features the same lace motif as the Sprinzig scarf, released last spring. The motif adds just the right amount of texture and lightness, while remaining easy to incorporate into a wardrobe.

For this version, I chose to hold together one strand of Helix and one strand of Felix from La Bien Aimée, both in the Lichen colorway. Held together, they create a subtly heathered fabric, very soft, with a beautiful drape.

Le Sprinzig Cardigan est un gilet tricoté du haut vers le bas, sans coutures, avec une construction simple et agréable à suivre. Les panneaux de dentelle le long des devants sont faciles à tricoter et sont bordés d’un i-cord intégré, tricoté au fur et à mesure, pour une finition nette et soignée. Sa coupe ouverte en fait une pièce idéale pour la mi-saison, facile à porter au quotidien.

Il reprend le motif de dentelle de l’écharpe Sprinzig, publiée au printemps dernier. Ce motif apporte juste ce qu’il faut de texture et de légèreté, tout en restant facile à intégrer dans une garde-robe.

Côté fil, j’ai choisi d’associer un brin de Helix et un brin de Felix de La Bien Aimée, tous deux dans le coloris Lichen. Tricotés ensemble, ils donnent un rendu subtilement chiné, très doux, avec un très joli tombé.
