This tam is playful and the colors of late spring early summer. I think it’s something the Fair Folk might wear to cavort in the cool morning mists. These two yarns are a heavy fingering weight but a sport weight or DK would work well too. This is a traditional stranded knitting piece and I’ve designed the patterns so that your floats aren’t too long but you’ll still want to catch a few every four stitches or so. Try this tam in a different color way, like the bright pinks or blues of spring flowers. Just play and have fun, just as a Sprite would.
