The Sprouting Cardigan is a whimsical, delicate, ultra-feminine cardigan perfect for the Spring season! A cropped, bottom-up cardigan with puff sleeves and an I-cord edge and tie. Construction is worked seamlessly to the armholes, then work is split off into both front panels and the back panel. Shoulders are sewn together, and stitches picked up for the sleeve. Sleeve increased then decreased dramatically to create the puff.

There is no intended ease on this project, so please size up or down depending on your preferred ease.

There are three files to download for the Sproutling Cardigan: an A-C Cup fit, a D+ Cup fit, and a file dedicated to Sleeve Alternatives (as well as the original sleeve design within the pattern, four more designs have been included on the additional PDF allowing for ultimate customisation!)

Sizes: XS, (S, M, L), XL, XXL, (3XL, 4XL, 5XL).

Original sample was knit in XXL. I fit a UK 22/24 on top, if that helps!

Yarn: Lang Cloud Yarn (100g, 260 yard/284 metres) in 08 for 2, (2, 2, 3), 3, 3, (4, 4, 4) balls.
520, (520, 520, 780), 780, 780, (1040, 1040, 1040) yards or 568 (568, 568, 852), 852, 852, (1136, 1136, 1136) metres.

Needles: 4.5mm, 6mm, 6.5mm circular needles.

Gauge: 17sts by 22rows = 4inches/10cm.
