The Spumoni Brioche Cowl Pattern is a long cowl knit using 2 contrasting/coordinating colors of your choice. It is knit in the round on circular needles and is fully reversible with one side featuring the lighter color, and the other, the darker color. The pattern is formed by sandwiching Nancy Marchant’s Wavy Buds Brioche Stitch pattern in between the basic Brioche Fabric Pattern. It is fully reversible, with one side featuring the lighter yarn as the dominant color, and the other, the dark color as dominant. It is 58 inches in circumference and is plenty long enough to wrap a couple times around your neck and is 9 inches in width. It is knit in fingering weight yarn with a total of about 760 yards, or 380 in each color. No blocking is necessary, and the pattern produces a very elastic cowl or scarf. Full written instructions and several video help links are included in the pattern.
